As a fledging enterprise developing new business opportunities, it was imperative to the development of the company that Texol gained ISO certification, but was reluctant to install a bureaucratic Quality System.
A solution was to develop and implement, a very low maintenance system, which adopted a 100% paperless system based on a very simple yet effective flowchart approach to all company procedures. Proof of this radical and original approach being hugely successful was the BSI recommendation for ISO 9000 certification within six months of Texol’s launch.
Since the initial integration and with very little process change, Texol moved to ISO 9000:2000 during 2003. |

The decision to achieve ISO 14001 showed Texol's commitment to a more environmentally friendly policy as well as for commercial reasons.
To achieve one the fastest ISO 14001 accreditations, Texol built upon the highly effective and efficient electronic, flow charted ISO 9000 Quality System. Many of the environmental monitors were in place, so developing the Environmental Management System (EMS) was reasonably straightforward and immediately created many cost saving opportunities especially in the area of scrap segregation and maintenance systems.
ECO efficiency is a way of life within Texol, increasing profitability and creating new business opportunities.
