Positioning
The positioning of your Mosquitoeater is not an exact science and you may have to experiment by placing the machine in different locations in order to find the prime position to get the best out of the machine. Factors, such as trees, buildings and other features can affect its performance.

Wind direction is an important factor in the placing of the Mosquitoeater. The primary purpose of the Mosquitoeater is to reduce the impact of Mosquitos on people by drawing them to the emitted scented plume of carbon dioxide. Wind can obviously directly effect the direction this plume of carbon dioxide takes therefore the get the best performance from the Mosquitoeater, the machine should be located downwind of the area people are likely to be.

Exploring the area where Mosquitos are a problem is important and positioning the Mosquitoeater at specifics location where the concentration of Mosquitos are densest should improve the number of Mosquitos caught.

Bearing in mind that weather conditions are very changeable especially wind direction and strength as well where the Mosquitos are concentrated, you should be prepared to move the Mosquitoeater into different position to get the best from it.

Catches

Positioning of the Mosquitoeater is important and it will be noted that the numbers caught will vary from location to location. It may be that the Mosquitoeater will catch large numbers over a short period of time which should make a big difference to the comfort of the people in the vicinity but also a smaller number caught over a longer period of time can have a positive impact. When trying the machine in different locations, the number of Mosquitos caught will obviously be a chief factor but just as important is the reduced annoyance of Mosquitos regardless of numbers caught.

The Mosquitoeater will catch Mosquitos immediately once the machine has been position in a good position and weather conditions are suitable and the benefits will improve over time as the population of biting Mosquitos is reduced by egg laying insects being removed from the breeding cycle.
