During the summer of 2004, extensive trials were also carried out in Northern Italy, which proved very effective in controlling the local populations of mosquito.
While not claiming, to be the answer to the problems associated with mosquitoes, it is evident that the Mosquitoeater can provide significant localized relief from mosquitoes. The field trials suggest that a Mosquitoeater carefully sited in an infested area should catch significant numbers of mosquitoes some of which will be disease carriers it maybe assumed!

The mosquito poses a major health problem for many countries around the globe. Serious diseases mainly Malaria and Dengue Fever are spread via the bite of infected mosquitoes.
Being bitten by an infected female Anopheles mosquito spreads malaria. The disease occurs in over 100 countries with more than 40% of the world’s population.
