Texol have again shown that their environmental policies and processes are a benchmark for many other industries and manufacturers by achieving the new BSI 14001:2004 standard.
Successfully audited by their accredited partners BSI in February 2005, Texol have again shown their total commitment and forward thinking to environmental requirements, and the smooth transition from ISO 14001: 1996 to BSI 14001:2004 is yet another example of Texol's social and environmental responsibility. |

When Careers Scotland (www.careers-scotland.org.uk) invited Texol to participate in one of their excellent, Make it in Scotland Roadshows, they were only too willing to accept.
The Roadshows are organised for the benefit of S2 pupils of local schools to meet and interact with manufacturing companies to help give them an understanding of the industry and what kind of career opportunities exist within the Scottish Manufacturing sector. Paul Neil and Graham Ward of Texol's Launchpad Division devised and manufactured an engineering based ‘Texol' puzzle to both challenge and entertain the kids.
The enthusiasm and knowledge of the pupils during the event, demonstrates that Scottish Manufacturing is alive and well as Texol is testament to! |

Barnardos’ launch of the highly acclaimed ‘Nae Danger’ DVD and resource pack during October will hopefully prove to be very successful. The resource pack which includes the very original and effective animated ‘Nae Danger’ film deals with the important issue of Child Exploitation, an area where Barnardos invest a lot of time and hard work.
The pilot scheme launched in Dundee schools proved to be very successful and hopefully will extend throughout Scotland and beyond in the coming months. Texol’s modest involvement in the highly impressive and very professional resource pack came from the supply of the DVD’s, duplicated and printed by the Texol’s expanding Duplication Services team.
